Reader Comments of the Week

“I own a bersa thunder double stack as a carry pistol. I use gold dot hollow points and love this little gun. I also have a bersa pro thunder .40,4inch service model. Both guns have been my carry guns at one time. My wife Carry’s a bersa firestorm. We love all three of these bersa models and recommend them highly.”

– RICHARD, in response to Review: Bersa Thunder Pistols

“You forgot one very important part. You must register the lower as a pistol when you fill out your 4473. If you do not, the feds, in theory, can charge you with making a handgun out of a rifle. Also remember to warn people not to use vertical forearms. Putting a vertical forearm on a pistol is a federal crime. Yours respectfully, Steven Howard Attorney at Law”

– STEVEN, in response to How to Legally Build an AR Pistol

“Good, solid, useful information. I’d bet the majority of concealed carry permit holders do not get the volume of practice the author recommends, and are probably not familiar with many of the techniques listed. I know I should spend more time out there. In our society today, if one is carrying a defensive handgun, getting everything right is not an option, it’s a requirement.”

– TED, in response to Practical Drills That Can Save Your Life
